Taken this morning as I was jogging
This morning I went for a jog and the streets were crowded with people just like 9/11. I wondered what had happened. I later found out, that a “novelty grenade” was found this morning in building two at New York’s World Financial Center, according to the police. A security screener noticed a suspicious package and called the police at 10:53 a.m. and a bomb squad was in place, everyone ordered out of the building.
The World Financial Center, houses four towers across the street from the site of the 9/11, attacks. Three World Financial Center at 200 Vesey St. was not evacuated.
I was re-routed 20 blocks so my short jog became a workout.
