A spacecraft, the size of a school bus, is about to fall from space to earth and they’re not exactly sure where or when. It is called a UARS and it is a large, expired NASA spacecraft that will plummet to earth within the next few weeks. NASA and the USAF have not a clue when this phenomenon will take place. Atmospheric density makes predicting re-entry next to impossible. They do know debris will reach the ground; 5,600-kg of it. That’s a debris field 800 km long somewhere between the latitudes of 57 deg. North and 57 deg. South. This leaves North America, Canada and Africa.
