Sulome Anderson is a reporter and book reviewer for the Times Square Chronicles. The daughter of former hostage and Associated Press journalist Terry Anderson, Sulome fought a career in journalism long and hard before finally succumbing to one. She attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts as an undergraduate drama major, becoming artistic director of the Orb Theater Company after graduation. However, the call of the pen proved too strong for her, and Sulome soon gave up the stage for writing. She has written publicity for Skyhorse Publishing Company, and currently works in the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Committee to Protect Journalists. Sulome was recently accepted at Columbia University’s prestigious Graduate School of Journalism, where she will begin classes this fall. She reads voraciously, worships Led Zeppelin, and hates it when people take themselves too seriously.
** Sulome was our intern whose talent was apparent from the begining. With T2C’s help she went to NYUschool of journalism and is currently is Breiut with the Associated Press.
