Unique senses and a ghostly presence can’t keep these Syfy gals from looking their best. We caught up with Being Human’s Meaghan Rath and Alphas’ Azita Ghanizada at the Syfy Upfront last month to uncover the secrets to their sexy summer style!
Azita got creative when it came to putting together her eye-catching colorblock ensemble. “The skirt is by Jay Godfrey. The top is by a Toronto designer, which I had cut to make this look like a one-piece dress.” Azita chose the colorful combination because “we’re in the warmer months.” She has another good reason to wear something bright. “I worked until one in the morning and I knew if I wore this, the attention would be off my tired face and on the bright, bold

colors.” She balances it out with bone-colored Miu Miu shoes. Color is indeed in this season, and Azita can’t wait to try “all the colored denim,” which is high on our list as well. Meaghan took a fun flirty approach for her purple carpet outfit in black and white stripes. “The dress is L’Agence, it’s a French line,” Meaghan shared. The jacket is a Toronto, Canada, vintage store find. But what we really couldn’t get enough of was her shoes. “They’re Chanel,” she shares. Her style tip of the season? ”Lots of sunscreen. I get facials once a month. It’s the best beauty tip ever just to maintain your skin,” she revealed. “I find it makes a huge difference.”
