- CHARITY BENEFIT
Once an operatically trained singer, she left that world to record her own pop power ballads. An astute businesswoman she started her own record label, which she is building to her own specifications. Soon she will globally export herself, as well as other carefully considered artists, to a world she is convinced is patiently waiting for the next new tsunami of sound. A studied artist in her own right has begun designing make-up that is as prophetic as it is strikingly stunning.
SHE IS THE SHAMAN OF HER TRIBE, HER DEVOTEES FOLLOW HER BLINDLY!
She is also the revered shaman of a tribe of several hundred devotees who follow her weekly to a late night gathering where future fame and fortune flow like free champagne. These are the tastemakers of the next several decades. These are the trendsetters besotted and besieged by nocturnally roaming under- cover agents from Madison Avenue. These are the leaders of an army of independent beauties who are too busy dancing to the world’s electronic music to march to the beat of Seventh Avenue – an address they have unapologetically rendered retro.
SHE IS THE EMPRESS OF ALL THAT IS MUSICALLY ELECTRONIC, AS HER DJs LEAD THEM GLOBALLY!
Her DJ’s are the much sought-after ARKADY, COLBY B., NITA, RYAN McKNIGHT and MIKIE LIKESIT. They spin, blend, pound and elevate House, Trance, Techno, Breakbeat, Jungle, Hardcore, Downtempo, Acid, Tribal, Latin, Booty, Deep and Funky into the night. Jackie is the visually-informed crusader soaring on the engines of the heat-seeking missiles of music.
NIGHT IS HER NATURAL HOUR!
She started at the Hudson Hotel on 58th Street, then MISS LASDON’S party roosted at STAY. They outgrew the club almost immediately. She then took over IDENTITY LOUNGE. The crowds were too big to be comfortably contained. With ELIAS RODRIGUES, ERICKATOURE AVIANCE and COLBY BARTRUG she is occupying WOODY’S (31 Second Avenue @ 2nd Street) EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT. COLBY B. gets the beats started at 11:00pm. No one goes home until 4:00am. There is no cover. This is the new in place to be.
