It’s summer in the City, hot, hot, hot – not only temperature wise, but the cabarets and clubs seem to generate their own heat with a bevy of performers. Not every entertainment means a cover charge and minimum. Check out some free stuff!
Tudor City Greens FREE Outdoor Concerts, South Park in Tudor City, located between East 41st and 42nd Streets between First and Second Avenues. The brilliant idea was the brainchild of Broadway singer/actress Raissa Katona-Bennett some 3 years ago, featuring some of today’s top cabaret entertainers and a songwriter contest with a panel of Judges including Neil Sedaka and MTV exec Matthew Perillo.
