Feinstein’s at Loews Regency is closing at the end of the year but they are going out with a bang. Last Sunday night Feinstein presented Beauty and La Biche to be repeated on October 14 and November 11. The show stars Emmy Award winning vocalist BETTE SUSSMAN and powerhouse vocalist ELAINE CASWELL.
Ms. Sussman has been musical director for the great divas and divos of pop from Bette Midler, Whitney Houston, Patti Lupone, Tim Curry, Michael Franks, Ronnie Spector and many more.
Ms. Caswell has also sung along with some of the great entertainers such as Cyndi Lauper, Cher, Mick Jagger(Concert for NYC at Madison Square Garden), Al Green, Dolly Parton, Martin Short, Bette Midler as a Harlette and others.
They’ve made others sound better on stage and now it was their turn. From funny parodies to fast paced hits, they were a captivating mix of sweet, sassy and smoky soul with a touch of rock n’ roll. Joining the party on stage was Darlene Love.
