An ad in Times Square urges Japan to apologize for forcing Asian women to serve as sex slaves for its troops during World War II.
The ad, states simply “Do You Remember?” Former German chancellor Willy Brandt kneels in apology in front of a monument for the Jewish ghetto in Warsaw during his 1970 visit to Poland. \
The ad, was created by singer Kim Jang-hoon and Prof. Seo Kyoung-duk of Sungshin Women’s University, and will stay in Times Square until late December.
