The 20th anniversary My Fair Lady Christine Andreas performs at 54 Below October 1st and 8th. She starred on Broadway in Oklahoma and On Your Toes (receiving Tony nominations for each), The Scarlet Pimpernel and, just last seasons, La Cage Aux Folles. From 2006-7, she received rave reviews in the national tour of The Light in the Piazza. This morning she was in “A New York State of Mind,” until piano player Don Rebic brought to life composer Louie Guglielmi melodies best known for his hits for “Piaf.” “Piaf” first dismissed the song “I Love Paris.” Flowing into “La Vie En Rose,” Ms Andreas excels in French repertoire with her perfect accents and flawless soprano. She has a complete understanding for this kind of music and all who witness her artistry feel her emotional connection. Christine Andreas seduces her audience with an honesty.
